Rolls-Royce awarded $41 million contract to upgrade China

Rolls-Royce has won a $41 million contract from China for an additional three industrial RB211 gas turbine compression packages to be installed on Phase 1 of the West-East Gas Pipeline. The contract, awarded by PetroChina West-East Pipeline Company, also includes upgrading seven Rolls-Royce compressors already operating on the 3,900 km/2,400 mile line.

Goodrich Component Maintenance Package selected by JetBlue Airways

Goodrich was selected by JetBlue Airways to provide exclusive maintenance for the airline’s component content on its A320 fleet, which could exceed a total of 200 aircraft. The long-term agreement includes maintenance for Goodrich produced technology that ranges from actuation and lighting to fuel and utility systems and potable water system components.

General Electric wins $2.5 billion engine maintenance contract

British Airways awarded a GBP1.5 billion (~ $2.5 billion) engine maintenance contract with GE, one of the largest engineering contracts awarded in the airline’s history. The ten-year agreement will see GE responsible for the maintenance, overhaul and repair for the airline’s RB211-524 and CFM56 engines.
