Embraer and LAM – Linhas Aereas de Mocambique signed a contract for two EMBRAER 190 aircraft, plus two purchase rights for the same model. The total value of the deal is $75 million, at list price, and could double, if all purchase rights are exercised. The E-Jets will replace older narrow-body jets operated by LAM

Airbus has selected B/E Aerospace as its supplier of next generation galley systems for the new A350 XWB aircraft. B/E Aerospace values the award at more than $1.0 billion. Program deliveries for the A350 XWB will commence in 2013.

Volaris, a Mexican low-fare airline based in Toluca, Mexico, has received its first Airbus A320 from Airbus.
