bmi signs agreement with Monarch Aircraft Engineering

Independent aircraft maintenance provider, Monarch Aircraft Engineering (MAEL) has signed line maintenance technical handling agreements with bmi, British Midland International. Under the terms of the agreements and with immediate effect, MAELs experienced engineering team will provide line maintenance support to bmis A320 fleet operations at Birmingham and London Gatwick.

Goodrich wins U-2 Multi-Spectral Sensor upgrade contract

Goodrich has been awarded a contract to deliver two upgraded Senior Year Electro-Optical Reconnaissance Sensors (SYERS) to the United States Air Force (USAF) for use on the U-2 platform. These upgrades, known as SYERS-2A, will enhance the U-2 functionality by adding extra multi-spectral imaging capability to the platform, providing significantly more utility in discerning imagery.
