Aviation Technical Services (ATS) has announced the addition of Kerry O'Sullivan to its executive leadership team as Chief Operating Officer (COO). This appointment is part of ATS's restructuring activities revealed in May 2024, which aim to integrate the operational, supply chain, quality, and safety activities of its Airframe Services and Component Repair businesses into a unified unit to better serve its customers.
“Kerry brings decades of proven operational experience to ATS,” stated Rob Cords, ATS CEO. “ATS underwent an incredible transformation journey over the last ten years, adding aircraft MRO hangars, component repair shops, and a USM/PMA warehouse. Ready for its next chapter, Kerry will lead his team, driving increased operational efficiencies and improved processes for both our customer and employee partners.”
O'Sullivan joins ATS from StandardAero, concluding a 13-year career where he last served as COO and SVP of Quality and Engineering. His other aerospace and manufacturing experience includes senior leadership and operations roles at AlliedSignal and Terex Corporation. He attended the University of Phoenix, holds an Aircraft Accident Investigation Certification from the University of Southern California, and studied Electro-Mechanical Engineering at Norwalk State Technical College
