GA Telesis, LLC, has signed a definitive purchase agreement for 23 used Airbus A320ceo and A321ceo aircraft from Spirit Airlines. This acquisition marks a significant milestone for GA Telesis, representing the company’s largest transaction involving non-leased aircraft of similar vintages. The aircraft, manufactured between 2014 and 2019, are powered by V2527-A5 and V2533-A5 Select-One™ jet engines.
This strategic move significantly strengthens GA Telesis’ fleet portfolio, allowing the company to better meet the increasing global demand for narrow-body aircraft. The firm intends to market these aircraft to its extensive global customer base, facilitating continued operations for commercial airlines worldwide.
Marc Cho, President of the GA Telesis LIFT Group, expressed excitement about the development, stating, “We are thrilled to announce this significant acquisition, which adds a large number of highly sought-after Airbus A320ceo and A321ceo aircraft to our portfolio. The A320ceo family of aircraft is renowned for its efficiency, performance and reliability, making it an attractive option for airlines across the world. We are confident these aircraft will provide significant value to our customers as they continue their operations.”
In addition to this recent purchase from Spirit Airlines, GA Telesis has also confirmed the acquisition of several on-lease aircraft from Avolon. Furthermore, the company has more than 20 aircraft in its pipeline, expected to close over the next few months. This series of transactions underscores GA Telesis’ commitment to expanding its operational capabilities and reinforcing its position as a prominent player in the aviation and aerospace market.
