Acron Aviation has bought Trakka Systems, a frontrunner in mission-critical video and imaging technologies. Trakka’s systems support military, law enforcement, public safety, and commercial missions across air, sea, and land.
Trakka will keep its brand name and continue operating independently. Yet it will now use Acron’s global network to grow faster. The deal opens new access to OEM platforms and end-user markets.
This marks Acron’s second acquisition since becoming a private company under TJC LP in March 2025. The move widens its aviation portfolio and strengthens its line-fit capabilities.
Alan Crawford, Chief Executive of Acron Aviation, said both firms share the same focus on innovation and technical excellence. He added that Trakka’s mission equipment complements Acron’s own portfolio and supports its ambition to become a top-tier partner in the aviation industry.
Founded in 2009, Trakka operates in Australia, Sweden, and the United States. It designs and builds electro-optical and infrared systems, including airborne cameras, searchlights, and mapping tools. These are fitted to helicopters, aircraft, drones, vehicles, and maritime platforms.
The acquisition brings Acron advanced technology and engineering expertise. It also boosts opportunities in defence and public-safety contracts.
In short, the purchase strengthens Acron’s global footprint and innovation pipeline. It confirms the company’s strategy to grow through smart acquisitions and deliver next-generation mission solutions worldwide.
