IAG posts June Group traffic
International Airlines Group (IAG) traffic in June increased by 9.1% versus June 2017, while Group capacity rose by 5.4% year over year. Group load factor increased 3.1 points to 87.4% compared to the previous year.

Ryanair has released that June traffic grew 7% compared to the previous year, to 12.6 million customers. The load factor for the month was the same as in June 2017, at 96%.
With ongoing robust traffic growth in May 2018, Frankfurt Airport welcomed some 6.1 million passengers and registered a 9.5% increase compared to the previous year. Capacity was up 7.8% over the previous year, at the same time, sales increased by 8.3%. The seat load factor increased by 0.4 points compared to May 2017 to 79.4%.
SAS Scandinavian Airlines has reported traffic results for May 2018. Scheduled traffic increased 1.6% compared to the previous year, while capacity increased 1.5%. The load factor increased to 74.1%, up 0.1 point versus last year.
Southwest Airlines has reported its May traffic statistics. Traffic in May 2018 increased 4.2% compared to May 2017, while capacity increased 5.2%. The May 2018 load factor was 84.6% compared with 85.4% in May 2017.
WestJet has reported May 2018 traffic results with a load factor of 82.2%, an increase of 1.6 points year over year. Traffic increased 7.5% year over year, while capacity grew 5.4% over the same period. WestJet welcomed an additional 147,000 guests in May, a year-over-year increase of 7.5%.
Ryanair has released that traffic in May 2018 grew 6% to 12.5m customers compared to May 2017 and the load factor rose 1% to 96% compared to the previous year.
Norwegian has released that a total of 3,421,460 passengers chose to fly with Norwegian in May, 497,863 more than the same period last year. Total traffic growth and capacity growth both increased by 51% compared to the same period a year ago. The load factor remained unchanged at 86.5%.
Finnair’s overall capacity increased in May by 21.5% year-on-year and traffic increased by 18.8%. The load factor decreased year-on-year by 1.8 points to 79.5%.
