CIRCOR Aerospace to manufacture landing gear for BLACK HAWK Helicopters

The CIRCOR Aerospace Products Group has been selected by Sikorsky Aircraft to execute a multi-year contract, with an initial award of approximately $25m, to manufacture landing gear for its H-60 – BLACK HAWK and Seahawk helicopters. CIRCOR Aerospace will perform the manufacturing, final assembly and testing of the landing gear at its Corona, California facility.

Garmin receives EASA approval for GTN Touchscreen Avionics

Garmin International, a global leader in satellite navigation, has received the European Aviation Safety Agency’s (EASA) validation of the U.S. Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) for the GTN 650 and GTN 750 series touchscreen avionics. LAN Airlines monthly statistics report for November 2011

LAN Airlines S.A. released that during November, system passenger traffic increased 13.4% as capacity rose 15.1%. As a result, the Company’s load factor for the month decreased 1.3 points to 80.3%. International passenger traffic accounted for approximately 65.6% of total passenger traffic. Starting in January 2011, these figures include AIRES’ domestic and international operations.
