GECAS announced the signing of a sale-leaseback agreement with Istanbul-based Pegasus Airlines for the delivery of four new Boeing 737-800 aircraft. Deliveries are all scheduled for this month. Pegasus, a scheduled and charter operator, is the second largest airline in Turkey, serving 100 destinations in 17 countries

Qatar Airways announced orders for three 777 Freighters and two 777-300ERs. The orders are valued at $1.4 billion at list prices. The 777 Freighter order was previously accounted for on Boeing’s Orders and Deliveries website as unidentified in 2010. The 777-300ER order was previously accounted for on the Orders and Deliveries website in 2011.

The Russian carrier UTair and regional turboprop manufacturer ATR reported the signature of a contract for the purchase of 20 ATR 72-500s. The announcement of the deal, valued at $426 million, took place in Kiev. With the entry into service of these new aircraft, UTair will respond to the increasing market demand for regional connectivity
