Rolls-Royce and PZL-Swidnik Aircraft have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to discuss future applications of the new RR500 engine family. BOC Aviation has concluded a purchase-and-leaseback (PLB) deal with Alaska Airlines for six Boeing 737-800 aircraft. All the aircraft will be leased for a period of 12 years. The first tranche of three aircraft was closed last week, and the second tranche is expected to close by end of February.

Rolls-Royce and Bell Helicopter have signed a ten-year agreement, valued at up to $400 million for the supply of Model 250 engines for Bell 206 and 407 helicopters. As part of this agreement, Model 250 engines will be delivered to Bell Helicopter through 2017.
