China Southern Airlines has signed long term lease agreements with Air Lease Corporation for five new Boeing 787-9 aircraft outfitted with GE’s GEnx engines, all from ALC’s order book with Boeing. Delivery of the aircraft is scheduled to begin in the first quarter of 2019, with three deliveries in 2019 and two deliveries in 2020.

DVB Bank SE has successfully underwritten and arranged the financing for Vietnam Airlines’ first Airbus A350-900XWB, leased from Dubai Aerospace Enterprise (DAE). DVB is the sole arranger and lender in this facility. Allen and Overy, London acted for DAE as lessor’s counsel while Clifford Chance London represented DVB.

Bombardier Commercial Aircraft released that a firm purchase agreement, consistent with the conditional agreement announced on January 24, 2017, has been finalized with Dublin-based regional carrier, CityJet. The firm agreement includes six CRJ900 aircraft and options for an additional four aircraft. Upon delivery, the aircraft will operate under wet lease in the Scandinavian Airlines (SAS)

Aviation Capital Group has signed long-term lease agreements with LOT Polish Airlines for three new B787-9s. These aircraft are from ACG’s order book commitment with Boeing. The first aircraft is expected to be delivered in March 2018.

Täby Air Maintenance, TAM, have signed a one year dry-lease deal with longstanding partner Loganair for a Saab 340B. The aircraft, msn 167, is in full passenger configuration and was previously operated by Cyprus-based Tus Airways. Currently at TAM’s main workshops in Örebro, it will be delivered to Loganair in mid-February.
