Rolls-Royce awarded $41 million contract to upgrade China

Rolls-Royce has won a $41 million contract from China for an additional three industrial RB211 gas turbine compression packages to be installed on Phase 1 of the West-East Gas Pipeline. The contract, awarded by PetroChina West-East Pipeline Company, also includes upgrading seven Rolls-Royce compressors already operating on the 3,900 km/2,400 mile line.
