Traffic

For the month of November, Air Canada reported a system-wide capacity increase of 9.5% and a load factor of 78.6%, increasing from 77.7% in November 2014. On this additional capacity, system wide traffic for November increased 10.8%.

WestJet reported November 2015 traffic results with a load factor of 78.6%, a decrease of 1.9 points year over year. Traffic decreased 2.7% year over year, and capacity declined 0.3% over the same period.

Delta reported that system traffic for November increased 4.6%, while system capacity increased 0.3% when compared to the previous year. System load factor for November increased 3.4 points to 84.1%.

Frankfurt Airport (FRA) welcomed 5.7 million passengers in the reporting month – growing by a noticeable 4.3% and setting a new October record. In comparison, the 2014 October statistics were influenced by Lufthansa’s two-day pilot strike. This was also reflected in October 2015 by the growth rates registered for aircraft movements and accumulated maximum takeoff

UAL’s October 2015 consolidated traffic increased 3.6% and consolidated capacity increased 1.4% versus October 2014. UAL’s October 2015 consolidated load factor increased 1.7 points to 83.4% compared to October 2014. Finnair’s overall capacity grew by 4.2% and traffic grew by 6.8% year-on-year. The passenger load factor increased by 1.9%-points to 81.4%.

Delta reported that October 2015 total system traffic was up 3.5% compared to October 2014, while capacity for the month was slightly down by 0.2%. The load factor for October was up 3.1 points to 86.9% when compared to the previous year.

Alaska reported a 12.3% increase in traffic on a 13.2% increase in capacity compared to October 2014. Load factor decreased 0.6 points to 82.8%. Alaska also reported 88.2% of its flights arrived on-time in October, compared to 87.1% reported in October 2014. Horizon reported a 1.6% increase in traffic on a 2.5% increase in capacity

American Airlines Group’s traffic was up 7.2% versus September 2014. Total capacity was up 3.7% versus September 2014 and the load factor was 82.7%, up 2.7 points versus September 2014.

Hawaiian Airlines reported September traffic increase of 2.3% compared to the preivious year, while capacity was up 3.1%. The load factor for the month was slighty down by 0.4 points, to 82.1%.
