WestJet announced May 2015 traffic results with a load factor of 77.2%, down 1.8 points, when compared to the same month in 2014. Traffic increased 6.6% year-over-year and capacity grew 9.1% over the same period.

Delta Air Lines reported system traffic increased 2.7% compared to the same period in 2014, while system capacity increased 4.0%. System load factor for the month of May 2015 was down 1.1 points, to 85.4%.

Alaska reported a 10.3% increase in traffic on a 12.1% increase in capacity compared to May 2014. Load factor decreased 1.4 points to 84.8%. Horizon reported a 9.6% increase in traffic on a 9.0% increase in capacity compared to May 2014. This resulted in a 0.3 point increase in load factor to a May record

With more than 5 million passenger served in April 2015, Frankfurt Airport (FRA) saw the busiest April month in its history. Growth was driven by high demand for destinations in the Far East, as well as by a strong increase in domestic traffic. The high passenger growth rate of 7.5% was attributable to the non-recurrence

JetBlue Airways reported its preliminary traffic results for April 2015. Traffic in April increased 9.0% from April 2014, on a capacity increase of 6.6%. Load factor for April 2015 was 85.7%, an increase of 1.8 points from April 2014.

For the month of April 2015, Copa Holdings’ system-wide passenger traffic increased 1.6% year over year, while capacity increased 7.0%. As a result, system load factor for April 2015 was 72.7%, a 3.9 point decrease when compared to April 2014.

American Airlines Group reported April 2015 and year-to-date traffic results. American Airlines Group’s total traffic for the month was down 0.3% versus April 2014, while total capacity was up 1.3% versus April 2014. Total passenger load factor was 81.6% for the month of April, down 1.3 points versus April 2014.

Virgin America reported its preliminary operational results for April 2015. The airline’s traffic increased 2.8% on capacity that was 1.2% higher than the same month in 2014.Load factor was 85.4%, up 1.3 points from April 2014. Southwest Airlines reported that traffic in April 2015, increased 8.6%  compared to the same month in 2014, while capacity

For the month of April, Air Canada reported a system load factor of 83.2%, versus 83.3% in April 2014, on a system-wide capacity increase of 7.5%.
