UAL’s October 2017 consolidated traffic increased 1.7% and consolidated capacity increased 3.4% versus October 2016. UAL’s October 2017 consolidated load factor decreased 1.3 points to 81.1% compared to October 2016.

GOL Linhas Aereas Inteligentes, reported that traffic in October 2017 increased 8.1%, while capacity rose 1.9% year-over-year. Load factor for October 2017 was up 4.6 points to 80.6% over the same period of 2016.

Spirit Airlines reported its preliminary traffic results for October 2017. Traffic in October increased 21.6% versus October 2016 on a capacity increase of 21.2%. Load factor for October 2017 was 83.2%, an increase of 0.3 points compared to October 2016.

Ryanair has reported that October traffic grew 8% to 11.8m customers, while the load factor improved 1.0 point to 96% when compared to the same period in 2016. Rolling annual traffic to October grew 12% to 128.2m customers.

International Airlines Group (IAG) traffic in October increased by 4.4% versus October 2016, while Group capacity rose by 2.7% compared to the previous year. The load factor for the month improved 1.4 points to 83.4%.

Finnair’s overall capacity in October 2017 increased by 16.8% year‐on‐year, while traffic grew by 19.9%. The number of passengers carried in October was 1.06 million, corresponding to an increase of 13.2% year-on-year. The passenger load factor increased by 2.1 points to 82.0%.

Norwegian reported that a total of 3,148,511 passengers chose to fly with the airline in October. This is 14% more than during the same period last year.
