FLYi, Inc., parent of Independence Air, which had previously filed for chapter 11, has reached a tentative agreement with the Aircraft Mechanics Fraternal Association (AMFA) that would enact new wage rates and work rules for Independence Air mechanics. Boeing logged orders for 36 aircrafts in October 2005. Total orders for the year account now for 679 aircrafts compared to 197 aircraft orders received in the first 10 months of 2004.
