US Airways Group reported January 2008 traffic results. Traffic for the month was down 0.9% from January 2007. Capacity was down 2.7% from January 2007and passenger load factor for the month of January was 75.2%, up 1.4 points versus January 2007.
Southwest Airlines reported that traffic increased 5.9% in January 2008, capacity increased 5.3% and the load factor for the month was 64.2%, compared to 63.8% for the same period last year.
WestJet announced January traffic results with a record load factor of 76.2%. This was accompanied by a capacity increase of 15.7% and an improvement in traffic of 16.2%.

Republic Airways Holdings reported preliminary passenger traffic results for January 2008. Trafffic increased 34.1% over the same month last year, while capacity increased 30.6%. Load factor was 65.6% versus 63.9% in January 2007.
