SAS Group's July traffic figures
SAS Group’s traffic increased by 2,7% during July and seat capacity was up by 4,9% vs 2007. SAS Group carried 3,5 million passengers in July, down 0.3% vs 2007. Total load factor was down by 1.7 p.u. to 78.9%.

Finnair traffic, measured in passenger kilometers, increased by 6.5% in July, while the capacity was up by 4.8%, resulting in a passenger load factor of 81.0% or 1.3 points higher than last year. Finnair transported altogether 715 711 passengers, which is 1.2% more than a year ago.
easyJet carried 20% more passengers in July 2008 than the previous year, the load factor for the month was reported at 89.3%, 0.8 pts higher than in June 2007.
In July 2008, traffic rose by 1.8% with capacity up 3.9%. The load factor stood at 84.4%, down 1.8 points. Air France-KLM recorded good progress in yield and unit revenue excluding currency impact, driven by business traffic. The group carried 7.1 million passengers (-0.3%).

Delta Air Lines announced a new daily nonstop flight between Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport and Mumbai, India, starting Nov. 1, 2008.
