Goodrich appoints President, Engine Control and Electrical Power Systems

Goodrich Corporation has appointed Bob Yancey as President of its Engine Control and Electrical Power Systems business unit. Yancey, formerly President of the Engine Components business, will report to Curtis Reusser, Segment President, Electronic Systems. Yancey replaces Mike Gardiner who now leads Aero Engine Controls, the joint venture formed by Goodrich and Rolls-Royce.

Myron Gray to direct UPSs U.S. operations

Jim Winestock, a 40-year veteran of UPS who for the past four years has overseen all package operations in the United States, will retire in February. He will be succeeded as the senior vice president of U.S. operations by Myron Gray, currently the head of UPS

Frontier pilots ratify long-term agreement

Members of the Frontier Airline Pilots Association (FAPA) ratified a long-term labor agreement with the airline. The agreement will extend certain wage and benefit concessions through December 2011. Nearly 85% of votes cast were in favor of ratification. Of the 454 votes cast, 384 voted yes, only 70 voted no.
