easyJet reported that traffic in May increased 1.5% compared to the same period last year, while the load factor slightly improved by 0.3 pts to 83.5%.
British Airways reported that in May 2009 capacity was 5.3% below May 2008. Traffic fell by 6.5%, this resulted in a passenger load factor decrease of 1.0 points versus last year, to 75.1%. Traffic comprised a 17.2% cent decrease in premium traffic and a 4.2% fall in non-premium traffic.
