Air China, the flag carrier of the People’s Republic of China, and Boeing have finalized an order for 20 Next-Generation 737-800s. Air China operates international and domestic passenger and cargo services. The carrier will use the airplanes to expand its domestic routes.

Coinciding with the 10th anniversary of Lion Air, Boeing delivered two Next-Generation 737-900ERs to the Jakarta-based carrier. Lion Air, which operates an all-Boeing fleet, was the launch customer of the 737-900ER and is currently the largest operator of the airplane.
