Lufthansa Group posts improved traffic figures in 2010

Deutsche Lufthansa AG significantly improved its traffic performance in 2010 compared with the previous year. Finnair to codeshare with Qantas

Finnair and its oneworld alliance partner Australian airline Qantas start codesharing on flights between Helsinki and Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide and Sydney via Singapore and Helsinki and Sydney via Bangkok. The cooperation begins via Bangkok in February 2011 and via Singapore in May 2011, when Finnair commences its daily operations to Singapore.

Boeing names Kim Hammonds Chief Information Officer

Boeing has named Kim Hammonds chief information officer and vice president of the company’s Information Technology organization. Hammonds, who was formerly vice president of the Boeing Information Technology Infrastructure organization, replaces John Hinshaw, who has been named vice president and general manager of Boeing’s new Information Solutions division in Boeing Defense, Space & Security.
