Boeing 787 Dreamliner receives FAA, EASA certification‏

Boeing received certification for the all-new 787 Dreamliner from the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) during a ceremony at the company’s Everett, Wash., facility. Boeing also released that ANA, launch customer of the 787 Dreamliner, is taking delivery of the first aircraft on September 25th.

Aeroflot starts operating second Sukhoi Superjet 100 aircraft

Aeroflot Russian Airlines puts its second Sukhoi Superjet 100 aircraft (SSJ100) into operation. The airliner will perform scheduled flights on route Moscow — St. Petersburg — Moscow. Sukhoi Superjet 100 SN 95010 was delivered to Aeroflot under contract with VEB-Leasing JSC on financial lease. Aeroflot ordered 30 SSJ100 aircraft in total.
