Boeing 747-8 Freighter first delivery set for Sept. 19‏th

Boeing will deliver the first 747-8 Freighter to launch customer Cargolux on Sept. 19th, at Paine Field in Everett, Wash. Cargolux will fly the airplane away that morning and put the airplane into revenue service. Boeing will celebrate the first delivery with Cargolux, employees and other stakeholders the following day at the Everett factory. Cargolux will take delivery of the second 747-8 Freighter Sept. 21st. The carrier has a total of 13 of the airplanes on order.
