Lufthansa Technik AERO Alzey to provide PW150A spare engine support

Air Berlin and Lufthansa Technik AERO Alzey (LTAA) have signed a multi-year Spare Engine Pool Agreement to support Air Berlin’s regional fleet of PW150A powered Dash8-Q400 aircraft operated by Luftfahrtgesellschaft Walter (LGW). As per the terms of the agreement, LTAA will provide spare engines for planned and unplanned engine removals.

ACG first airplane leasing company to announce commitment to 737 MAX

Aviation Capital Group (ACG) announced the company’s commitment for 35 737 MAX airplanes and its firm order for 20 Next-Generation 737-800s. The Newport Beach, Calif. -based ACG is the first airplane leasing company to announce a commitment to the 737 MAX. The new 737 MAX family will be powered by CFM International LEAP-1B engines.
