A J Walter Aviation takes ownership of half a million ft² warehouse

A J Walter Aviation’s new campus will see the development of a significant global HQ and logistics centre close to Gatwick Airport in the UK. The site is on a footprint of over 60 acres and will provide a purpose-built HQ office and storage facilities for AJW’s extensive range of Airbus and Boeing components, engines and consumables. As the construction phase, which started more than a year ago, nears completion the state-of-the-art warehouse is the first part of the new premises to have become operational this June. The increased capacity afforded by the new warehouse will house additional inventories of aircraft spares which are needed to service AJW’s expanding airline customer base and larger units, such as engines, will continue to be stored in the on-site Logistics Centre.
