Hamilton Sundstrand and Japan Airlines (JAL) agreed to extend their exclusive repair agreement on the Airlines’ Boeing 767/777 and MD90 fleets. This extended agreement covers repairs through August 2014, expanding upon Hamilton Sundstrand’s initial exclusive repair agreement with JAL, which was signed in 2008.

Spirit AeroSystems and China Airlines announced the signing of a supply agreement whereby Spirit Aftermarket Customer Support (ACS) will provide thrust reverser, fuselage, and wing component spare parts for China Airlines’ fleet of Boeing aircraft. This multi-year contract will enable China Airlines to obtain predictable and competitive pricing for all parts in the Spirit Catalog

AlMasria Universal Airlines, the Egyptian based airline which commenced operations in 2009, has awarded A J Walter Aviation a multi-million dollar contract to provide component power-by-the-hour support initially for its existing fleet of two A320 and one A321 aircraft. A main base kit will also be located in Cairo to further support daily operational needs.

EVA Airways has also signed a 12-year OnPoint solution services agreement for the maintenance, repair and overhaul of its GE90-115B engines that will power its new seven Boeing 777-300ER aircraft ordered in May. The contract is valued at about $300m over its life of agreement.

Jet Airways has signed an 10-year OnPoint solution agreement with GE Aviation that expands the engine maintenance, repair and overhaul coverage to include new CF6-80E engines that will power nine additional Airbus A330 aircraft that the carrier will begin inducting later this year.
