Emission cuts and fuel savings targeted in new Etihad Airways-OSYS deal

Etihad Airways has chosen Rolls-Royce subsidiary Optimized Systems and Solutions (OSyS) to implement a new fuel management solution to maximise fuel use, cut carbon emissions and reduce overall fuel costs. The deal is part of the UAE flag carrier’s continuing efforts to drive environmental and operational efficiencies both on the ground and in the air.

Southwest Airlines reports second quarter net income of $273m
