Alaska Air Group reports second quarter net income of US$234m

Alaska Air Group reported second quarter 2015 GAAP net income of US$234m compared to $165m in the second quarter of 2014. Excluding the impact of mark-to-market fuel hedge adjustments of US$6m (US$4m after tax), the company reported record adjusted net income of US$230m compared to adjusted net income of US$157m in 2014.

MTU Aero Engines raises forecast in light of half-year results

MTU Aero Engines AG saw its first-half-year revenues rise by 21% to €2,202.0m in 2015 (1-6/14: €1,815.8m).
