BOC Aviation has reported its operational transactions for first quarter ended 31 March 2017: BOC Aviation had a portfolio of 293 owned and managed aircraft, with an average aircraft age of 3.2 years and an average remaining lease term of 7.4 years for owned aircraft fleet, weighted by net book value. At the end of March the order book stood at 201 aircraft. BOC Aviation has taken delivery of 19 aircraft (including 2 acquired by airline customers on delivery) in the first quarter of 2017 and has signed 31 leases. The customer base comprised of 73 airlines in 34 countries in the owned and managed portfolios. The company has sold six owned aircraft in the first quarter of 2017 and the managed fleet comprised of 36 aircraft. The total number of aircraft delivering in 2017 has increased to 77, of which 92% have been committed for lease. Aircraft utilisation was 99.3% for the quarter ended 31 March 2017.
