EFW Sends Egyptair Its 2nd A330-200P2F

Elbe Flugzeug Werke (EFW) has delivered a converted A330-200 to Egyptair from Dresden. Indeed, this is the second passenger-to-freighter aircraft sent from EFW to Cairo/Egypt. The aircraft finished its acceptance processes and ground tests in late January. Subsequently, Egyptair Cargo is replacing the older A300-600P2f freighters with more of the newer A330-200’s . Egyptair hopes to improve its range, volume, and payload capacity with this move. Additionally, two other aircraft have finished the conversion from passenger planes to freighters. These are the MSN709, which recently completed final cleaning and hand-over, and the MSN610. The MSN610 has just finished its paint stripping and systems removal.
