Wizz Air Holdings has appointed Andrew S. Broderick to the Board of the Company as non-independent non-executive director with effect from April 16, 2019.
Andrew S. Broderick has been a Director of Indigo Partners, a private equity fund focused on air transportation, since July 2008. Broderick has served on the board of directors of Frontier Airlines Holdings, an airline based in the United States, since January 2018 and JetSMART Airlines SpA, an airline based in Chile, since September 2018. Additionally, he has served as an alternate on the board of directors for Concesionaria Vuela Compañía de Aviación, S.A.B. de C.V., an airline based in Mexico doing business as Volaris, since July 2010.
At the same time, John R. Wilson has informed the Company of his decision to resign as a Director of the Company with immediate effect after more than 14 years of service as the Company’s non-independent non-executive director.
