GA Telesis U.K. (GAT) has further expanded its capabilities with the announcement of its being awarded authorization from Her Majesty’s Revenue & Customs (HMRC) to operate as a customs warehouse at its Bournemouth facility. GAT is targeting January 2021 to begin customs warehouse operations.
GAT estimates they will process approximately 10,000 transactions into and out of the facility each year, resulting in more control over the customs process along with significant annual cost savings that can then be passed on to its customers.
