Delta Air Lines is returning to Sweden in summer 2022, with nonstop daily service from New York-JFK. Customers flying to the capital, Stockholm, will enjoy more choice in cabin experience, including Delta One business class. Also available for the first time will be Delta Premium Select, the airline’s premium economy cabin, offering larger seats with more legroom and an adjustable footrest.
Flights will begin June 1 and offer connections from across the United States at Delta’s JFK hub. Delta has been rebuilding its network since international borders reopened earlier this year. With the addition of Stockholm to its 2022 route map, Delta will have more than 100% capacity increase on European routes next year compared with summer 2021. In total, Delta plans to operate up to 70 daily flights to 21 destinations in Europe from ten US airports next summer.
