ELFC appoints Richard Hough to Chief Operating Officer

Engine Lease Finance Corporation (ELFC), one of the world’s leading independent spare engine leasing companies, has announced the appointment of Richard Hough to the position of Chief Operating Officer. Hough joined the company in 1997 and has held several positions of increasing responsibility within the technical department. In 2011 he was promoted to the position of Executive Vice President Technical and in 2013 also assumed responsibility for the company’s IT function. Before joining ELFC in 1997 he spent seven years with Shannon Aerospace where he trained as an aircraft engineer.

Hough is succeeded by Aoife Fennell who takes up the role of Executive Vice President and Chief Technical Officer. Fennel joined ELFC in 2001 as an engineering manager and for the last 20 years she has undertaken increasing levels of responsibility within the technical function of the company as Vice President and most recently as Senior Vice President with responsibility for the EMEA region.
