AerFin has completed the purchase of a B737-800 landing gear from Hawker Pacific Aerospace, part of the Lufthansa Technik Group. The purchase-and-leaseback agreement has seen AerFin acquire the landing gear in fully overhauled condition and lease it back to Hawker Pacific Aerospace to support the operation of Hawker’s narrow-body programmes.
Commenting on the agreement, Nick Filce, Director – Asset Sales and MRO at AerFin, said: “We’re pleased to be able to offer this unique structure to Hawker Pacific and offer it a flexible asset support solution that meets the needs of its operation. Additionally, we are pleased to broaden our portfolio of high-quality assets with the addition of the B737-800 landing gears”.
