Nasmyth Group has announced the appointment of Tony Upton as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
Upton has held several senior executive roles within the aerospace and defence industry and most recently was the CEO of Gardner Aerospace, having previously been CFO since 2018. Prior to this he held financial and operational roles at Eaton, UTC Aerospace Systems and Goodrich.
Upton’s extensive experience in the sector will be key to the next phase of Nasmyth’s development, as the Group continues to plot a path to growth in its recovering end markets.
Established in December 2003, Nasmyth Group brings together in a single effective team, the collective expertise, resources and technology of the customer-orientated, precision engineering businesses. These provide the basis for four global specialist divisions: Machining, Systems and Defence, Fabrication and Welding as well as Metal Treatments.
