Safran Nacelles has signed a four-year agreement with Avianca for the support of the nacelles of the airline's Airbus A320neo aircraft powered by CFM International LEAP-1A turbofan engines of which 17 aircraft are already in service. Avianca has plans to rapidly grow the fleet and will have access to Safran Nacelles' shared pool of nacelle end-items. The airline will also benefit from OEM guaranteed MRO solutions at the Safran Nacelles repair station in Indianapolis, Indiana, U.S.A.
