AerCap Holdings (AerCap) has announced its major business transactions during the full-year 2022. The company reported that it signed 570 lease agreements and completed 118 purchases during the full-year 2022. AerCap completed 207 sale transactions during the year and signed finance transactions of approximately US$ 4.2 billion.
During the fourth quarter the company signed 159 lease agreements, including leases for four wide-body aircraft and 76 narrow-body aircraft, 37 engines and 42 helicopters.
AerCap completed 43 purchases during the fourth quarter for 30 aircraft (including 22 Airbus A320neo-family aircraft, one Airbus A220, one Airbus A330neo, one Boeing 737 MAX, one Boeing 787-9 and three Embraer 195 E2s for AerCap's owned aircraft portfolio and one aircraft for AerCap's managed aircraft portfolio), nine engines and four helicopters.
Furthermore, the company completed 97 sale transactions for 64 aircraft (including nine Airbus A320-family aircraft, three Airbus A320neo-family aircraft, eight Airbus A330s, 33 Boeing 737NGs, one Boeing 767-300ER, two Boeing 777-200ERs, one Boeing 737-300SF, two Boeing 747-400Fs and four Embraer E170s from AerCap's owned aircraft portfolio and one aircraft from AerCap's managed aircraft portfolio), 20 engines and 13 helicopters.
