Joramco, the Amman-based aircraft maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) facility and engineering arm of Dubai Aerospace Enterprise (DAE), has appointed Thomas Bjorndal’s as the new Chief Commercial Officer.
Bjorndal is an aviation professional with an impressive track record spanning over four-decades. Throughout his career, he has excelled in both maintenance and commercials, holding leadership roles across various locations around the world. Prior to joining Joramco, he was the Head of Base Maintenance Services Management at Swiss International Air Lines (Swiss). Before joining Swiss Bjorndal was the Manager of Line Maintenance at Qatar Airways. In his new role at Joramco, he will lead the Commercial department to drive growth and enhance customer experience.

With more than 50 years of experience, Joramco has built a solid track record as a leading independent commercial aircraft maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) facility serving a wide range of customers in the Middle East, Europe, South Asia, Africa, and the CIS countries, offering services on several aircraft models from the Airbus, Boeing, and Embraer fleets.
