As a consequence of recent investments made and partnerships created, Kellstrom Aerospace has announced that it is now in a position to add additional material to support the needs of its airline and MRO customers. The inventory has grown for engine and airframe components for the following: the CF6-80C2, CFM56-7B, CFM56-5B, B737NG and A321. These assets are being disassembled as a means to support the challenges facing the supply chain for the commercial aftermarket.
Michael Garcia, VP of Commercial at Kellstrom Aerospace has commented that: “These recent airframe and engine investments and teardowns reflect our dedication to providing exceptional aftermarket solutions to our program customers.” By leveraging these teardowns, Kellstrom Aerospace has shored up its material support capabilities, improving its ability to serve programme customers with superior aviation aftermarket solutions through parts supply, exchanges, or consignment inventory.
