Complete Aircraft Group (CAG) has partnered with global IT services provider TEKenable, to develop a new maintenance software solution aimed at streamlining compliance and reporting processes through real-time, cloud-based data management.
The system – built from the ground up in conjunction with TEKenable’s TEKaviation team – will initially support CAG’s engine borescope services. Available via any connected desktop or mobile device, it allows engineers to instantly upload data pertaining to the work in the field helping to improve turnaround times and subsequently lower associated expenditure.
Peter Rose, Group CIO at TEKenable said: “We are very excited by the partnership with CAG, who bring unrivaled expertise and knowledge of the challenges faced across the full-range of MRO processes. Combined with the power of our TEKaviation platform and an expert rapid delivery software team, we’ve created a solution that will support genuine business transformation.”
Through their shared insight and sector expertise, the two companies have developed an entirely new way of working, utilising the cloud to replace antiquated paper-based processes and repetitive, time-consuming form filling.
Looking forward, other functionality and modules are planned to be integrated, including CAG’s existing personnel competency package, ELMS. These developments will help to create a centralised, fully transparent source of truth for a range of maintenance tasks, providing users with access to a wealth of up-to-date, real-time data.
For now, the initial borescope support solution is ready for launch, with CAG already demonstrating the potential benefits to its range of commercial and business aviation customers.
