AerFin has announced that Auvinash Narayen has assumed the position of Chief Investment Officer as of April 2, coinciding with his 13th anniversary at AerFin. Since the company’s inception in 2011, when Narayen joined as the second employee, he has played a key role in leading airframe and engine acquisitions, as well as building a global trading team that has been pivotal to the company’s growth and profitability.
In his new role as Chief Investment Officer, Narayen will be responsible for overseeing the company’s investment strategies, drawing on his extensive knowledge of the aviation aftermarket to identify and seize opportunities that are in line with AerFin’s long-term goals. As a member of the Executive Committee, he will evaluate potential investments, manage risks, and optimize returns for the company and its shareholders.
Simon Goodson, CEO of AerFin, commented: “We are delighted to appoint Auvinash as our Chief Investment Officer. His wealth of experience and proven track record in investment management make him ideally suited to lead our investment efforts during this exciting phase of growth, delivering value to our partners, investors, and customers.”
Narayan added: “I am honoured to take on the role of Chief Investment Officer at AerFin during such a thrilling period in the company’s journey. As a forward-thinking company, we are always looking to the future. However, this moment in my career allows me to pause and reflect on the remarkable growth and accomplishments of the company since I joined – it’s a journey I am extremely proud of. I eagerly anticipate continuing to contribute to its success by identifying new strategic investment opportunities and further expanding the company.”
