CMA CGM AIR CARGO is set to launch a transpacific route linking Asia to North America in the summer of 2024, marking a significant step forward in its development strategy.

To facilitate service expansion to new destinations, CMA CGM AIR CARGO will take delivery of two Boeing B777-200F aircraft this year. The first aircraft, expected in June, will kick-start operations on the transpacific route in preparation for the peak season, serving airports in Hong Kong, Chicago, and Seoul. The second aircraft is slated for delivery in the fourth quarter of 2024, connecting mainland China to North America. These flights will be conducted in collaboration with partner airline Atlas Air.

Currently, the CMA CGM AIR CARGO fleet comprises two B777Fs and three A330Fs, all stationed at the Paris-Charles de Gaulle (CDG) hub.

The network expansion strategy of CMA CGM AIR CARGO is poised for further advancements in the near future:

In 2025, the addition of a third B777-200F will fortify the fleet, expanding its coverage and available capacity for customers.

By 2026, the delivery of eight Airbus A350F aircraft will enable the operation of a comprehensive global network, meeting the diverse logistics requirements of air freight customers.

As the inaugural customer for the cargo variant of the A350, CMA CGM AIR CARGO has chosen the most environmentally efficient aircraft available, underscoring its commitment to sustainable transportation. The A350F model boasts a 20% reduction in CO2 emissions compared to its counterparts, aligning with the company’s dedication to eco-friendly practices.
