Bombardier has disclosed that its customer NetJets has emerged as the previously undisclosed purchaser of 12 Challenger 3500 aircraft. Initially announced in December 2023, the transaction, pegged at US$326.4 million based on prevailing list prices, could potentially surpass US$6 billion if all optional 232 Challenger 3500 jets are eventually acquired.
This procurement further enhances NetJets’ premier private aviation fleet with the latest addition to the Challenger lineage – the pre-eminent super-midsize platform, augmenting the travel experience for its clientele through the exceptional attributes of the Challenger 3500 aircraft. Deliveries for the aircraft in the confirmed order are slated to commence in the latter half of 2025.
