Aviation Technical Services (ATS) has added Dennis Santare to its executive leadership team as SVP Component and Engineering Solutions. This addition supports the realignment of its materials businesses announced internally to ATS and Ranger Air Aviation employees on May 20, 2024. ATS' new organisational structure brings together the sales, revenue generation and related strategy development of its component repair, component sales and engineering teams. These moves allow for greater operational focus and a more coordinated approach for its various offerings.
Santare joins ATS from Oliver Wyman, where he served as a partner and played a key role in building its Americas Aerospace, Defence and Government Services (ADG) practice, growing sales and enabling acquisition and integration activity. He also has extensive aerospace and leadership experience from his time with Aircraft Propeller Service and AAR.
“We're excited to start the next chapter of ATS' impressive story. Increased collaboration within our component repair, USM, parts trading and PMA teams is anticipated, which in turn will provide a better customer experience,” stated Rob Cords, ATS CEO. “Dennis is surrounded by a team of experienced leaders all ready to launch our new approach and facilitate stronger linkages across the business.”
Santare attended the United States Naval Academy, where he earned a degree in control systems engineering, and later served as an officer and a TOPGUN aviator in the United States Marine Corps. Additionally, he has an MBA from The Wharton School and is a Six Sigma Black Belt.
