RECARO Aircraft Seating has been chosen by airBaltic to provide its innovative R2 seat for the airline's Airbus A220-300 aircraft. As the world's largest A220-300 operator, airBaltic's selection of RECARO seating underscores its commitment to passenger comfort and an enhanced travel experience. Delivery is scheduled to begin in the first quarter of 2026.
The airBaltic fleet will be equipped with RECARO seats in a 148-seat cabin layout. The design will feature a contemporary light-grey and white dress cover to reflect airBaltic's clean and sophisticated cabin ethos. The seats will be configured to maximise living space and enhance passenger comfort.
