Veryon, a prominent provider of information services and software solutions for the aviation industry, has been selected by Sharp Airlines to oversee its airworthiness, flight operations and maintenance activities. The Australian regional carrier now employs Veryon Tracking+, an all-inclusive aircraft management platform, to manage its fleet of nearly 20 aircraft for maintenance, inventory and flight operations.
“We opted for Veryon because they understand our need for flexibility,” said Alistair Dorward, Chief Executive Officer of Sharp Airlines. “Their system is user-friendly, and we can customise it to suit our specific requirements seamlessly. It's all about optimising our operations and Veryon comprehends that.”
Sharp Airlines sought a new system due to the outdated nature of their previous one, which was no longer supported and made it challenging to capture important data. Recognising the limitations of its existing setup, Sharp Airlines aimed to transition towards a modern, paperless environment with Veryon Tracking+ and its seamlessly integrated modules, mitigating the risk of data discrepancies or confusion. The web-based platform, along with its mobile app functionality, also provides users with accessibility anytime, anywhere.
“At Veryon, we're honoured to collaborate with Sharp Airlines, marking the beginning of a partnership focused on innovation and customer-centric solutions,” said Norman Happ, Chief Executive Officer of Veryon. “Together, we're positioned to revolutionise the aviation industry, enabling operators like Sharp to streamline operations and achieve unparalleled success.”
