Sabre Corporation (Sabre) has announced the implementation of a new distribution agreement with French Polynesia's newest airline, Air Moana. The domestic carrier has joined Sabre's extensive distribution marketplace to enable easier access for travellers to the beauty of the islands of Tahiti.
Air Moana is based at Tahiti International Airport and flies to six destinations across French Polynesia, including Bora Bora, where it launched its inaugural route in 2023. Through Sabre's Global Distribution System (GDS), the airline can now distribute its fares and content through a vast network of travel agents across the world, giving Sabre-connected agents access to additional airline content to create personalised offers and experiences for their leisure travellers.
“Sabre is committed to empowering start-up and established airlines to unlock their full potential and realise their ambitions,” said Brett Thorstad, Vice President, Agency Sales & Airline Distribution, Asia Pacific. “We're thrilled to support Air Moana's expansion efforts and help showcase the beauty of French Polynesia to travellers around the world.”
Air Moana is an inter-island airline operating in French Polynesia since February 2023. From and to Tahiti, the carrier serves the islands of Bora Bora, Moorea, Raiatea, Rangiroa, Nuku Hiva and Hiva Oa.
