Cabinair Services, a UK-based and well-established service provider specialising in aircraft interior design, refurbishment and repair, has announce the acquisition of a majority shareholding in AeroKnow SIA (AeroKnow), a prominent Latvian-based aviation engineering and design house, with engineers located around the world.
This strategic acquisition enhances Cabinair Services' capabilities by integrating AeroKnow's expertise in EASA Part 21J Design Organisation Approval (DOA) and EASA Part 21G Production Organisation Approval (POA). AeroKnow's extensive experience in the repair and modification of aircraft components, as well as its ability to design and manufacture aviation parts, will significantly enhance the company's offerings.
“By combining our resources and expertise, we are ready to offer even more innovative, efficient and sustainable solutions to our current and new customers.” commented Martin Bonner, Managing Director of Cabinair Services.
“We are excited to welcome AeroKnow into the Cabinair Services family,” said Vito Mirko Giacovelli, Commercial Director of Cabinair Services. “This acquisition aligns with our commitment to increasing our presence in the global aviation market.”
AeroKnow's current operations will continue as usual, and the integration process is expected to be seamless, ensuring uninterrupted service for all existing clients. The combined entity will operate under the Cabinair Services brand, reinforcing its position as a leading provider of aviation interior solutions. Ellex in Latvia provided legal support to Cabinair Services during the acquisition process.
